Good company, fresh air, and coffee after.

We're a friendly group of neighbors who walk together most Saturday mornings around the Diablo Valley. No sign-up fees, no speed records, everyone welcome.

Next walk: Saturday, October 17

Iron Horse Trail, Danville section. Flat and paved, about 4 miles round trip with a shorter turnaround for anyone who wants it. We start at 8:00 am sharp and usually end up at a coffee shop around 10.

The meeting spot goes out to our email list on Thursday evening. Not on the list yet? Just send a note to hello@diabloevalleywalkers.com and we'll add you.

What we're about

Two smiling walkers taking a selfie on a fall trail

Friendly first

Most of us started coming because we were tired of walking alone. Newcomers always get paired up with someone on their first walk.

Golden East Bay hills in late afternoon light

Local trails

Shell Ridge, Lime Ridge, the Iron Horse Trail, Heather Farm and the gentler parts of Mount Diablo. We rotate so it never gets boring.

Two paces

The "Strollers" take it easy and the "Striders" go a little quicker. Both groups meet up at the end, and nobody gets left behind.
